Close the gap between socioeconomic classes with understanding and connection.

The Bridges Out of Poverty framework has long served to close gaps in understanding between socioeconomic classes and strengthen connections between organizations and the communities they serve. But recently, organizations have discovered how powerful it can be for internal teams. It helps colleagues work better together and recognize how a background or present circumstance of hardship can shape an individual’s communication, expectations, and behavior in the workplace.

Through observing individual mindsets, scenarios, real-life situations, local data, and learning about the impact of hardship, your team will journey deeper into empathy and explore how both individuals and teams can contribute to a healthier workplace.

Using the Bridges out of Poverty framework by Dr. Ruby K. Payne’s The Aha! Process, we will walk through mental models (internal pictures of how the world works), the reality of poverty, communication, resources, and more.

When teams understand the unseen influences shaping behavior, they can move from frustration to curiosity, from judgment to clarity, and from division to shared purpose.

That’s where stronger workplaces begin.

I wanted to say thank you for a wonderful experience with the Leadership Training. I am grateful that I got to be a part of the training. WOW what a fun group of humans we had, such a good group. I will continue to review the material as I continue to grow. Thanks for all you do to help us become better Leaders.

I can not say enough good about the program. I loved everything about it. Being more conscious of others thoughts and differences than me has been a huge take away; learning to treat each employee as a leader and seeing potential in them. Personally, I feel like it has helped me in many ways. Being more tolerant of family, not assuming, better communication, feeling grateful to do things instead of feeling I have to do it. These are just a few.

Among the many leadership programs I’ve participated in, this one has been the most impactful—both personally and professionally. Regardless of your field, it cultivates leadership in all its forms and inspires a deeper commitment to growth, integrity, and being a better human overall
